Deadline
Once I spent too much time on one (sometimes, even insignificant) task. In the unfinished business I began to work on it, was distracted by advertising, messages in social networks, interesting videos, snacks, etc. And other things, meanwhile, waited for my hour while I was suffering garbage.
In this situation, a lifeline for me was a limiter. I saw this chip on some cool site and immediately tested it.
The bottom line is to guess by eye how much time it takes to complete a task. And since there are already some terms, the person himself urges himself to fit into them.
